Air Maintenance Work Order

Aircraft

Air Maintenance©'s aircraft screen allows the user to add/edit/delete aircraft from the system. The user can also import aircraft from the FAA Database, create work orders for aircraft and create work order from CSV for the selected aircraft.

  • Aircraft Info
    • Contains all the information about the aircraft, including engine/APU model and serial numbers
  • Files Saved to Aircraft
    • Allows the user to store files and documents to the selected aircraft
  • Aircraft Notes
    • Allows users to add notes to the selected aircraft
  • Work Order History
    • Allows the user to view all work order history for the selected aircraft.
  • Create Work Order from CSV
    • Allows the user to import a CSV file of discrepancies, usually an export to Excel© from either CMP or CAMP.

Discrepancy Templates

Air Maintenance© allows the user to create discrepancy templates in the system, these templates allow the user to also include inventory, misc. charges and panel removal to each discrepancy in the template. Air Maintenance© also allows the user to link the templates to a specific aircraft or part number from the capabilities list depending on the facility type.

Dock Receiving

Dock Receiving is primarily used by a component facility and it facilitates a way to receive in multiple parts at one time.

Work Orders

  • Work Order Information
    • The work order screen layout will change depending on the facility type, whether the facility is a component facility or an aircraft maintenance facility.
    • The Work Order Information screen contains all the required information for the work order.
  • Engines T/C's
    • Allows the user to enter in all required times and cycles for the aircraft or component
  • Preliminary Inspection
    • Allows the user to enter a preliminary inspection of the aircraft or component, this is primarily used for forms and reports but has no other baring on the work order.
    • Air Maintenance© is discrepancy based, in that all time and materials must be added to a discrepancy not directly to a work order
  • Discrepancies
    • Adding a new discrepancy allows the user to enter in discrepancy category, billing type, classification, RMK Code, Flat Rate charge (if applicable), title, discrepancy code (usually a CMP or CAMP code), estimate hours and ATA chapter
    • The user can also enter discrepancy, corrective action, modify the status, and note (if applicable) which logbook entry the particular discrepancy applies to.
    • Short Signs
      • Short signs allows the user to enter what work was accomplished if the discrepancy wasn't completed by the technician during the time they were clocked into the discrepancy.
    • Add Inventory to Discrepancy
      • Allows the user to add inventory requests to the discrepancy
        • In this screen the user can also enter in the remval code, install status, malfunction code as well as all times and cycles for the part.
        • The user can also enter in all parts off information for the core return to inventory
    • Add Service to Discrepancy
      • This allows the user to request an outside service be done on a particular part from the work order. This will then be sent to purchase for the creation of a repair order.
    • Add Panel to Discrepancy
      • This screen allows the user to enter any panels that have to be removed to complete the corrective action of the discrepancy.
    • Component Removal
      • This allows the user to enter in all components that have to be removed to complete the corrective action, until all components have been signed off that they have been re-installed the discrepancy will not be allowed to be signed off.
    • Select Discrepancy Template
      • Allows the user to select the template or just discrepancies from a template to be added to the current work order.
    • Discrepancy Search
      • This allows the user to search for a discrepancy, they user can enter any part of the discrepancy and any discrepancies that are similar to what has been entered into the search box will be displayed and by double clicking on that discrepancy the work order will be opened to all the user to view the discrepancy.
  • Panel Log
    • A report showing all panels that have been removed from the aircraft or component.
  • Component Log
    • A report showing all components that have been removed from the aircraft or component.
  • Select Documents Used
    • Allows the user to mark what documents were used in while completing the repair of the current work order
  • View Repair Manuals
    • Allows the user to view the repair manuals that have been marked as being used to repair the work order.
  • Work Order Files
    • Allows the user to add/scan files to the work order
    • All reports that are printed from the work order screen will be saved in the work order folder in PDF format
    • In the discrepancy folders, copies of all inventory files for the stock items that have been added to the discrepancy will be stored in the appropriate folder
  • Notes
    • Allows the user to enter notes for the work order
  • Inventory Added to WO
    • A report showing all inventory items that have been added to the work order via the stock room.
  • Misc Charges
    • A report showing all Misc. charges added to the work order
  • Calibrated Tools
    • Allows the user to check out/in calibrated tools to a discrepancy
  • Clock Into WO
    • Allows the user to clock in/out of a discrepancy
    • Allows the user to mark the time track as a training time track (these will appear on the OJT report) as long as the trainer enters their user name and password
  • Time Track Report
    • A report showing all time tracks for the currently selected work order.
  • 8130-3
  • Logbook Entry
  • RTS/Scrap Whole WO
    • This is primarily used by a component facility to scrap an entire work order
    • Once scrapped the part will be listed on the scrap log located in the inventory center
  • Scrap Part from Work Order
    • This is used to scrap a single part from a work order
    • Once scrapped the part will be added to the scrap log in the inventory center

Shipping

Air Maintenance© Allows user to ship multiple work orders on the same packing slip, this section is primarily used by a component facility.
